The chance to see the Northern Lights is lower than a few years ago because of the solar minimum approaching and the tourists who visit Norrbotten may now not experience as many cool northern lights.
In a television feature with SVT Norrbotten from December 4, Urban Brändström, Northern Lights Researcher at IRF tells us that the Northern Lights vary in an 11-year cycle and that it is now on the way to a smaller solar activity.
